Yes, I've made quite a few friends online.
They are some of my best friends and often have kept me going.
I've also had a successful date & relationship from meeting someone online, unfortunately it wasn't ment to be.

Describe your dream date.
I am picked up on time and greeted with a warm smile and flowers.
Then we see a nice play and go for ice cream afterwards and talk until they throw us out of the place.

Is it okay to lie about yourself on internet dating services?
Only if you feel your most endearing quality is dishonesty.
What's the point of claiming to be someone you're not?
It will only lead to relationships that either can't last, or will at least be strained by the need to maintain deception, or to recover when the deception is discovered.
I'm not looking for someone I can fool, I'm looking for someone who's what I want, and who wants what I am.

Describe a few of your favorite places.
This summer I discovered the High Uintahs are amazing.
Somewhere I can stare up at the stars.
Also, just to be at home curled up in front of a fire watching a movie or talking with friends.

Do you prefer the ocean, mountains, plains or city?
I love the mountains, as they are where I grew up.
I love the ocean, as it is where I found my inner calm.
I love the plains, as they are where you can see the sky meet the earth.
The city.... is one place that I have to learn to love.

What kind of art do you prefer?
I love bright, rich, saturated colors!
I like lots of photography, but the best are canvases that show off lots of thick texture, where the artist wasted plenty of paint.
The three things I love best, though, are:
1. Nature
2. People (inner and outer beauty combined - though the outer can be totally enhanced by the inner) and
3. When others really, really appreciate how beautiful the world is.

Should "rubber neckers" be ticketed?
Yes, but the problem is that if you pull them over to give them tickets, all the other rubber neckers slow down to see what's going on.

If I had wanted to be rich, I guess I would not have chosen social work as a career goal.

If i haven't taken a shower for a while, then i use a lot. J/K! almost never

Would you like to have magical powers? Which ones?
I fly in my dreams a lot (especially since seeing Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon), and that's pretty fun, so I'd like to try that for real.
Being able to move things by thought would be convenient, as long as it didn't make me lazy and unhealthy.
Being able to travel by thought would be nice.
I know--I'd like to be able to make a good meal appear instantaneously out of nowhere.

Does age matter in relationships? Why or why not?
You hit a point where age is not the best determination of maturity.
I used to say it was at 21, but now I'd say it's more like at 24 or 25.
Other than that, as long as both people are capable of keeping up with each other, then compatibility is way more important than marks on a calendar.

What is the meaning of life?
Life doesn't give us meaning, we give it meaning by the choices we make.
So it depends on the individual--on the choices they make.
