Keep The Faith
Posted on 11/7/2006
I know that having a lot of children and being single may seem like an impossible situation, but there are guys out there, like me for one, who love kids and would never not consider a good LDS woman just because of the number of children she has. Don't give up hope! Keep the faith!

As for priesthood examples in your home, you should have Home Teachers who come regularly to help you in that area. In addition, these Home Teachers are supposed to be available at all hours to help with such things as blessings for the sick and family emergencies. They can't take the place of a father in the home, of course, but your sons can see the Priesthood in action even if one is not always present. Please contact your Elders Quorum President or Bishop if you don't already have Home Teachers.

Lastly, if you have male family members that hold the Priesthood and live near by, consider calling them for help as well. No reason why they can't help to fill the void of a missing father and they can also be there in situations and at times where the Home Teachers can not.

I hope this response helps, and gives you some hope. I'm sure there are others with even better ideas....

Regards,
